Full course description
Through theoretical frameworks, case studies, and applied tools, students learn how to analyze power structures, identify barriers to equitable participation, and devlop strategies for building trust and accountability. The course emphasizes practical methods for strengthening community partnerships, designing inclusive decision-making proces, and sustaining long-term collaboartion that centers community voices.
By the end of the course, students will understand how community engagement contributes to equitable public health outcomes and how power-sharing models can transform traditional top-down approaches into collaborative systems of leadership and action.
